Jeff Webb Cheerleading is a notable entrepreneur, author, and CEO from Shelby County, Tennessee. In 2004, the International Cheer Union, sometimes known as Cheer, was established. In 2007, Webb, who was formerly connected with the National Cheerleaders Association and the Universal Cheerleading Association, was elected president.

 

Globally, Cheer serves approximately 7.4 million athletes. Webb, its president, and its founder are responsible for the organization's membership in the Association of International Sports for All. The International Cheer Union is a globally recognized non-profit governing body. Its purpose and ambition are to promote cheerleading as a sport.

 

Human Events:

 

Webb is the senior news editor for the website Human Events. Human Events is an established news source and analysis in Washington, D.C. It draws its name from the first sentence of the United States Declaration of Independence. Webb, an entrepreneur, novelist, and business leader, became Human Events' senior news editor in 2020.

 

Human Events was created in 1944 as a print publication by its founders. In 2013, it became an exclusively digital journal. In addition to serving as senior news editor, Webb publishes the website alongside executive opinion editor Will Chamberlain.

 

Co-publisher Webb managed the acquisition of the Canadian online news magazine The Post Millennial by Human Events in 2022.

Jeff Webb Cheerleading, founder, and former chief executive officer of Varsity Brands, launched Varsity Spirit in 1974. Now, Varsity Spirit is a division of Varsity Brands. Webb served as Varsity Brands' CEO until 2018. Until 2020, he remained to serve as the company's chairman.

 

Varsity Spirit, headquartered in Memphis, Tennessee, is a global leader in developing cheerleading, dance teams, and the performing arts. More than a million athletes contact Varsity Spirit annually through educational camps, competitions, and other events.

 

Webb left Varsity Spirit and its parent company, Varsity Brands, to focus on the World Cheer Union and other endeavors, including Human Events.

 

Webb served as chairman of Herff Jones until 2020. The Indianapolis, Indiana-based company is actively involved in collegiate and professional cheerleading. It is widely known for producing and marketing educational recognition products and motivational materials that stress achievement.

 

Jeff became the company's chairman in 2014, following the 2013 acquisition of the company by Varsity Brands.

 

Academic Experience:

 

Webb attended the University of Oklahoma, a prominent public research university in Norman, the third-largest city in the so-called Sooner State, south of Oklahoma City. It was founded in 1890 and provided a comprehensive university education inside a private college environment. The college has three campuses in Oklahoma and offers study-abroad opportunities at other international locations.

 

Webb earned a bachelor's degree in political science and government from the University of Oklahoma. He became an active campus leader during his enrollment and was highly involved with the school's cheerleading squad. As a university student, he was hired by the National Cheerleaders Association because he participated in this organization.

 

Webb continued working for the National Cheerleaders Association upon graduating from the University of Oklahoma. His ongoing connection with the group would develop his entrepreneurial career in the long run. Following his departure from the National Cheerleaders Association, he established the International Cheerleading Association and Varsity Spirit, the precursor to Varsity Brands.

 

Charity Participation:

 

Jeff Webb Cheerleading, a prominent entrepreneur, author, and corporate executive, is a passionate humanitarian. He has collaborated closely with St. Jude Children's Research Hospital since 2002. St. Jude Children's Research Hospital is a world leader in studying, treating, and eradicating childhood cancers and other life-threatening disorders.

 

In addition, he has extensive expertise working with the Special Olympics organization. The Special Olympics organization is the world's largest sports organization. It provides year-round training and activities for disabled children and adults. It currently serves more than five million customers in over 170 countries.

 

Webb was a longtime supporter of the Jerry Lewis MDA Labor Day Telethon until it was discontinued. The annual telethon raised much-needed funds for the Muscular Dystrophy Organization. The Muscular Dystrophy Association remains committed to aiding individuals with neuromuscular conditions.

Webb is possibly the person most credited with advancing and extending the sport of cheerleading. He is also accountable for cheerleading being an official Olympic sport. He is widely acknowledged as a global leader in cheerleading and is credited with developing the sport's global prominence.

 

Webb's best-selling book is American Restoration: How to Free the Great Middle Class. The 192-page book describes the author's efforts to make cheerleading a recognized sport worldwide. In addition, the author advocates several efforts to harness the potential of the American middle class.

In addition to his professional activities as an entrepreneur, author, business leader, and philanthropist, Jeff Webb Cheerleading enjoys several personal hobbies and other interests. These interests and activities include sailing, conservation, duck hunting, and unicycling.

Father-of-two As much time as possible, Webb spends with his family and close friends. He was born and raised in the county of Shelby, Tennessee. He currently dwells with his Labrador Retriever in Memphis on the Mississippi River in the Volunteer State, where he is firmly established.
